Where to do Reformer Pilates in English in Mainz, Wiesbaden and Frankfurt

You can do Reformer Pilates in English in Mainz as a private session (€70 for 50 minutes) or in a group class at a partner studio in Mainz, Wiesbaden or Frankfurt (typically €15–€30). Classes are taught in English or German, and no German is needed to book or take part.

Who this is for

If you’ve moved to the Rhein-Main area, you already know the feeling: you can manage the paperwork in German, but you don’t want to learn a new machine in a second language while lying on your back. Reformer is cued constantly – “shoulders down”, “neutral pelvis”, “control the return” – and following those cues is most of the skill.

Private or class?

  • Private session (€70, 50 min, Mainz): best if you’re new, coming back from an injury, or want the session built around your body. Your first session includes a short intake at no extra cost.

  • Group class at a partner studio (€15–€30): best once you know the machine. You book and pay the studio directly.

  • The Root Reset workshop (€37, 90 min, Mainz): a Reformer class plus a conversation about one theme, in English. A good first step if you want to try it in a small group.

What to know before your first class

Wear fitted clothes and grip socks, arrive ten minutes early, and tell the teacher about any injury before the class starts. The full first-class guide is here: Your first Reformer Pilates class.
